Trip Design
The character of each trip reflects the specific needs of the individual participants.
Adventure trips involve motivational activities which help participants put barriers aside
and experience what they never dreamed possible. Trips range from the typical outdoor
adventures (day hikes) to the unusual (dog sledding) All trips are designed to allow
participants the opportunity to experience the beauty of nature firsthand.
Goal Setting
Personal goal setting is an integral part of the outdoor adventure . Staff work with
participants to develop goals which are challenging, yet attainable and fun. Progress in
achieving these goals is documented and presented to the individual along with a
certificate of completion.
Trip Costs
The cost for an adventure trip vary depending on the specific nature and length of a
trip. The fee for the trip is paid by the participant and typically includes:
transportation; camping and permit fees; equipment purchase/rental; food; external agency
costs; and, administrative costs.
