Community Participation

Creating a Valuable Day

Day Services provides therapeutic independent living skills programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. Individuals in our Day Services program can also work as volunteers. This not only adds a circular dimension to our community, but it gives our consumers the ability to experience the gift of giving. Our Community Participation Day Services inspire camaraderie, fellowship, and teamwork. By working with others in various activities a few hours or more each week, our clients gain the skills necessary to participate in the local communities they come into contact with every day.

By adapting our Day Services activities to each individual’s goals, we are able to focus on unique therapeutic outcomes. We help each person develop an individualized plan for growth.

CREATING ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES THROUGH PERSONAL GOAL-SETTING AND COMMUNITY-BASED ACTIVITIES
