Our History

People Helping People Since 1989

Where It All Began

In 1989, our founder discovered that an out-of-state company was about to abandon 13 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities living in a Denver area apartment building. Determined to help, Support, Inc. was born. What started as an urgent response to a community need has grown into a statewide network of care. We've evolved into a premier provider of community-based solutions for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Colorado. Built on our "people helping people" philosophy, we partner with individuals, families and caregivers to joyfully and tirelessly support them on their journey.

Growing to Serve More Communities

As the number of individuals and families who trusted us grew, so did our reach. We've expanded thoughtfully over the years, opening locations throughout Colorado. Now known as Support, Inc. Network, our network includes Support, Inc., Pueblo Community Resources, Nostalgia Group, Inc., and William's World, with offices in Arvada, Aurora, Colorado Springs, Denver, Greeley, Loveland, Pueblo and Sterling.

In December 2024, we launched an expansion initiative that is bringing new locations and expanded access to residential, day and clinical services across the state of Colorado.

We're proud to continue the mission that started more than 35 years ago: providing innovative, comprehensive support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
