What is the Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (DD) Waiver?

- Behavioral and clinical services
- Job coaching and supported employment
- Supported community connections
- Day services and community engagement
How to Apply:

IRSS and PASA: What You Need to Know
Individual Residential Services and Supports (IRSS) is a Colorado program that provides assistance to individuals with disabilities, allowing them to remain in their own homes. Services covered include:
- Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Homemaker services (meal preparation, light housekeeping)
- Accompaniment to medical appointments
- Respite care for caregivers
- Assistance with mobility
As a Program Approved Service Agency (PASA), Support, Inc. Network is licensed and approved by Medicaid to provide comprehensive services, including residential care, day services, and clinical support. Our PASA designation ensures families receive care that meets the highest standards of quality, safety and accountability.
Navigating the System
Case Management Redesign Colorado has implemented Conflict-Free Case Management (CFCM) to ensure a separation between case management agencies and direct service providers. This redesign ensures there are no conflicts of interest and that individuals receive unbiased support in accessing services.
If you're struggling to reach your case manager or have questions about the redesign, our team can help. Contact intake@supportinc.com for assistance.
Other Waivers in Colorado
If the DD Waiver doesn't fit your loved one's needs, Colorado offers other waiver programs. Visit Colorado HCBS Waivers to explore other options.
Taking Care of Yourself
Caregiving is rewarding, but it can also be physically and emotionally demanding. Recognizing and addressing caregiver burnout is essential for your well-being and your ability to provide quality care.
Signs of Caregiver Burnout:
- Feeling overwhelmed or constantly worried
- Fatigue and sleep problems
- Withdrawal from friends and activities
- Changes in appetite or weight
- Frequent illness
- Loss of interest in activities you once enjoyed
Resources for Support:
Our Family Caregiver support groups offer a meaningful opportunity to connect with others who understand your experience. These groups meet bi-monthly in a virtual setting, creating a convenient and supportive space to share, learn, and build community with fellow caregivers.
