Henry Furtua recently achieved a huge accomplishment by obtaining his driving permit. Balancing college, a summer job, and now taking this important step toward independence has been a big deal for him. We are so proud to see his hard work paying off! Austin Durham has had an incredible summer filled with camping adventures. His family is truly remarkable in the way they create opportunities for him to be fully included. With the help of specialized equipment, they make sure that even challenging terrains don’t keep him from being a part of every adventure. Their dedication is inspiring, and Austin has loved every moment of his outdoor experiences.
Jeremy Welker has also been reaching new milestones! He started a custodial job and has been stepping out into the community more often. It was wonderful to see him at the 4th of July party this year — it’s such a joy to witness him participating in more events outside of the home. This progress is a really big step for him, and we couldn’t be happier to celebrate his achievements.
